Choir Uniforms

Wondering what to wear? Your choir uniform is a solid black outfit that you purchase on your own. Please see the details below for each gender. Each chorister will also be given a yellow/gold accessory by the choir director to wear with their uniform.

Boys’ Choir Uniform:

Black long sleeve, button up, dress shirt
Black dress pants
Black belt
Black socks
Black dress shoes (no runners/boots)

Girls’ Choir Uniform:

Black dress reaching to the knees (short sleeves are okay, but they must reach to just above the elbow at least)
Black tights
Black dress shoes – must be comfortable to stand in for long periods of time (no runners/winter boots)
OR
Black blouse  – this must be a dressy shirt, no t-shirts (short sleeves are okay, but they must reach to just above the elbow at least)
Black dress pants or black skirt (leggings do not count as dress pants; skirt must reach to the knees)
Black socks or tights
Black dress shoes – must be comfortable to stand in for long periods of time (no runners/winter boots)

General Notes:

-Everyone is responsible for obtaining, cleaning, and ironing their own uniform.
Please do not purchase anything in faded black or dark blue, as when we stand together as a choir this is very noticeable.
-We hope each person will be able to find an outfit that best fits and flatters his/her body type and allows for some personality to come through, but we also hope that each person will choose an outfit that is modest and will allow us to still look like a choir.
